Valentina studied literature and painting in Italy and video at the university of Barcelona while writing a thesis on Media strategies. Having completed the MSc Multimedia Systems at Trinity College she is currently a PhD candidate in the Dept. of Computer science of Trinity College with Dr. Mads Haar and research assistant at Media Lab Europe with Glorianna Davenport and the Story networks group.
My research had been focusing on visual interactive narrative in the context of emerging interactive and new technologies.
Computers aloud-complex structures of narratives to come to life and the navigation element of the story to come to the foreground as an expressive channel for the author.
