Cian received his primary degree in Experimental Physics and his Masters in High Performance Computing from Trinity College Dublin just before joining the lab. Since then he has spent his time in the Human Connectedness group dabbling in computer-vision, network programming, embedded electronics, and custom designed wireless prototypes. His current projects include a system for reconnecting isolated hospital patients to the outside world, and a wearable device for context aware data exchange.
