Scott joined the Mindgames
Research Group having completed his master’s degree
at the Media Lab at MIT. During his time at MIT he conducted research
in the Synthetic
Characters Research Group, where he specialized in interactive computer
graphics and
issues of real-time graphical interaction with autonomous characters.
Prior to his work
at the Media Lab, Scott served as an officer in the United States Army
and
completed a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton
University. Scott’s
is currently designing hardware and electronics for wireless biometric
sensing.
A reknowned
'Strongman' in his hometown of Spokane, Washington, he also brought the
formidable craft of kite-making to MediaLab Europe. His pottery skills
are legendary, and he
can readily communicate with birds and animals using the ancient language
of Aah' Mteuk.
