Joe/Joesphine Robot
The Story ...
Joe robot has issues. It all started when he (?!) was seen sitting around contemplating through its Social Robot Architecture what it could see with his stereo USB vision system as it looked around using his motion servo-control system. |
Then Joe went to London on July 12th, 2002... to the SmartLab Centre. A London fashion designer made Joe a dress and a floral pattern pair of butterfly wings. Contrary to all expectations, Joe became Josephine!! ... and performed in the Flutterfugue dance in collaboration with SmartLab (Lizbeth Goodman), NYU CAT Lab (Ken Perlin, Clilly Castiglia, Kate Brehm), Jorgen Callesen, Jaihn K Rose, with music by Nick Ryan (BBC). |
